Description:
CyruxNET has discovered a vulnerability in Dictionary module for Xoops, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

Input passed to the "letter" parameter in "letter.php" is not sanitised before being returned to users. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site by tricking a user into visiting a malicious website or follow a specially crafted link.

The vulnerability has been confirmed on version 1.10. Other versions may also be affected.
