Description: Frank Denis has reported a vulnerability in Engenio Storage Controllers, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error within the handling of incoming TCP packets. This can reportedly be exploited to cause a vulnerable device to become unresponsive and under certain circumstances corrupt data by sending a few specially crafted TCP packets.
Solution: Grant only dedicated management systems access to the controllers.
