Description: Two vulnerabilities have been reported in Squid, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
1) A NULL pointer dereference error within the "clientAbortBody()" function can potentially be exploited to crash Squid by visiting a malicious web site via the proxy.
The vulnerability has been reported in Squid 2.5.STABLE5.
2) A error in dereferencing freed memory during an aborted PUT or POST request can potentially be exploited to crash Squid.
The vulnerability has been reported in Squid 2.5.STABLE7.
Solution: Patches have been applied to version 2.5.STABLE5 and 2.5.STABLE7.
