Description:
Lord YuP has reported a vulnerability in Gadu-Gadu, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the schema for sending images. This can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow by sending a specially crafted "GG_MSG_IMAGE_REPLY" reply.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code, but requires that the attacker is added in the victim's contact list.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 6.0 build 149. Other versions may also be affected.
