Description:
@stake has reported a vulnerability in Pingtel Xpressa, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the phone's HTTP management interface. This can be exploited to crash the underlying OS by sending an overly long GET request.

Successful exploitation causes the phone to fail and requires a power cycle to restore functionality.

The vulnerability has been reported in model PX-1 Core Apps 2.1.11.24. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Disable the HTTP management interface.
