Description:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in PHP, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information or potentially upload files to arbitrary locations.

1) A parsing error in the handling of GET, POST and COOKIE (GPC) variables in "php_variables.c" can be exploited by supplying a specially crafted parameter name ending with an open bracket to disclose memory.

2) The "$_FILES" array specifies locations for uploaded files. The problem is that the array can be overwritten by a specially crafted header. This can potentially be exploited to upload files to arbitrary locations.

Successful exploitation requires a PHP script, which uses the "$_FILES" array for e.g. moving uploaded files.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 5.0.1. Other versions may also be affected.
