Description: James Bercegay has reported two vulnerabilities in DNS4Me Web Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks and cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
1) Input passed to the web server isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site.
Example:
http://[victim]/?[code]
2) An error in the processing of incoming traffic can be exploited by sending a large amount of data to the web service, which may cause it to crash or consume a large amount of CPU resources.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 3.0.0.4. Other versions may also be affected.
