Description: Luigi Auriemma has reported a vulnerability in Pop Messenger, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the Base64 conversion functionality. This can be exploited by sending about 15 specially crafted messages containing invalid characters (e.g. "%" and "_").
Successful exploitation crashes all clients by broadcasting the messages.
