A vulnerability has been reported in Zinf, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the handling of playlists. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via a specially crafted playlist containing an overly long filename.
NOTE: An exploit has been published on public mailing lists.
Solution: The vulnerability has been fixed in version 2.2.5 for Linux.
