Description: Andrew Daviel has reported a weakness in Canon imageRUNNER, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
Canon imageRUNNER has a feature, which prints e-mails sent to port 25/tcp. The problem is that insufficient restrictions are enforced on incoming e-mails, which e.g. can be exploited to cause a large amount of papers to be printed by sending malicious e-mails.
The weakness has been reported in Canon iR5000i, Canon iRC3200, and Canon iR2200. Other Canon imageRUNNER printers may also be affected.
