Description: Christer Oberg has reported a vulnerability in FreeBSD, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain knowledge of sensitive information.
The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error in the "CONS_SCRSHOT" ioctl and can be exploited to disclose parts of kernel memory by supplying a specially crafted argument.
Successful exploitation requires access to the physical console or that a "/dev/ttyv*" device node can be opened.
