Description: Multiple vulnerabilities have been discovered in PHPLinks, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks or execute arbitrary local PHP scripts.
1) Input passed to the "ID" parameter is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
2) Input passed to the "show" parameter in index.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources.
3) Input passed to the "term" parameter in index.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to users. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site.
Example:
http://[host]/index.php?term=[code]
The vulnerabilities have been confirmed on version 2.1.3.1. Other versions may also be affected.
