Description: Luigi Auriemma has discovered a vulnerability in ShixxNOTE, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to boundary errors in the handling of font fields. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow by sending a specially crafted message with an overly long font field.
Successful exploitation can lead to execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability has been confirmed on version 6.net (build 117). Other versions may also be affected.
