Description: Secunia Research has discovered some vulnerabilities in Ansel, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection and script insertion attacks.
1) Input passed to the "image" parameter is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
2) Input passed to the album name field is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the main page or a malicious album is viewed.
The vulnerabilities have been confirmed on version 2.1. Prior versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 2.2:
