Description:
NSFOCUS has reported a vulnerability in HP-UX, which can be exploited by malicious people to gain escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is caused due to the stmkfont utility using relative paths when executing certain external commands. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary commands with group "bin" privileges by manipulating the PATH environment variable.
