Description:
infamous41md has reported a vulnerability in WvTftp, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the "new_connection()" function in "wvtftpserver.cc". This can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow by sending a malicious TFTP datagram containing a specially crafted option name.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 0.9. Other versions may also be affected.

NOTE: Exploit code is available.
