Description: Luigi Auriemma has reported two vulnerabilities in Master of Orion III, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
1) An input validation error can be exploited to cause a game server to exit by sending a data block containing an overly large value in the "size" field.
2) An error in the handling of nicknames can be exploited to cause a vulnerable game server to crash by sending overly long nicknames on multiple connections.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 1.2.5. Other versions may also be affected.
