Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in HP OpenView Operations (OVO), which can be exploited by certain malicious people to gain escalated privileges on a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error and can be exploited by a malicious OVO operator to perform unauthorised actions on remote managed systems.

The vulnerability affects the following versions:
* OpenView Operations version 8.0 for HP-UX
* OpenView Operations version 8.0 for Solaris
* OpenView Operations version 7.x for HP-UX
* OpenView Operations version 7.x for Solaris
* OpenView VantagePoint version 6.x for HP-UX
