Description:
Ulf Harnhammar has reported a vulnerability in ez-ipupdate, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a format string error in the "show_message()" function. A malicious server can exploit this by returning a specially crafted response containing format specifiers.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code, but requires that the application is running in daemon mode.
