Description: Gentoo has issued updates for GIMPS, SETI@home, and ChessBrain. These fix some vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.
The problem is that some files are installed user-owned, but are executed as the "root" user by the initscripts.
