Description: A vulnerability has been reported in Darwin Streaming Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error in the handling of "DESCRIBE" requests. This can be exploited to cause a vulnerable server to crash by sending a specially crafted request for a location containing a null byte.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 5.0.1. Other versions may also be affected.
