Description: Two vulnerabilities have been reported in the Attachment Mod module for phpBB, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
1) An input validation error can be exploited to add, remove, and execute files outside the upload directory via directory traversal attacks.
2) An error in the handling of multiple file extensions within "mod_mime" can be exploited to upload malicious script files.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 2.3.10. Prior versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 2.3.11.
