Description:
CoKi has reported a vulnerability in Citadel/UX, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a format string error within the "lprintf()" function in "sysdep.c". This function is e.g. used when processing commands received by the Citadel Server service (default port 504/tcp) and can be exploited by connecting to the service and sending a specially crafted string containing format specifiers.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability has been reported in versions 6.27 and prior.
