Description:
Georgi Guninski has reported some vulnerabilities in the Linux Kernel, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerabilities are caused due to integer overflows in the "ip_options_get()" and "vc_resize()" functions as well as a memory leak in the "ip_options_get()" function.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in versions 2.6 through 2.6.9, and in versions 2.4 through 2.4.28.

Solution:
The vulnerabilities have reportedly been fixed in version 2.6.10-rc3-bk5 and also in the 2.4 release candidate.

Grant only trusted users access to affected systems.
