Description:
Yosef Klein has reported a vulnerability in abcpp, allowing malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the "handle_directive()" function, which is used when preprocessing abc files. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via a specially crafted abc document.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code, but requires that a user is tricked into preprocessing a malicious abc document.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.3.0. Prior versions may also be affected.
