Description:
Yosef Klein and Limin Wang have reported a vulnerability in UnRTF, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the "process_font_table()" function when converting RTF documents. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via a specially crafted RTF document.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code, but requires that a user is tricked into converting a malicious RTF document.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 0.19.3. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Do not convert untrusted RTF documents.

Use another product.
