Description:
Ariel Berkman has reported a vulnerability in Vilistextum, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the "get_attr()" function when converting HTML documents into text. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via a specially crafted HTML document.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code, but requires that the user is tricked into converting a malicious HTML document.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 2.6.6. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
The vulnerability has been fixed in version 2.6.7.
