Description:
sysbug has reported a vulnerability in e107, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The problem is that images with arbitrary file extensions can be uploaded via the Image Manager in "images.php". This can be exploited to upload malicious script files (e.g. PHP scripts) inside the web root.

Solution:
Update to version 0.617.
