Description:
Gentoo has issued an update for cups. This fixes multiple vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by malicious users to manipulate certain files, cause a DoS (Denial of Service), or compromise a vulnerable system.

Update to "net-print/cups-1.1.23" or later.

Changelog:
2005-01-12: Updated "Solution" section. Vendor recommends updating to version 1.1.23 instead, as the previous version is affected by a DoS vulnerability.
