Description:
Network security team has discovered a vulnerability in Network Assistant, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the handling of UDP datagrams. This can be exploited to crash a vulnerable service by sending a specially crafted UDP datagram to port 50138.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 3.2.5.2260. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Limit use to a trusted network only.
