Description: NSFocus Security Team has reported a vulnerability in Winamp, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in in_cdda.dll when processing "cda://" URIs. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via e.g. a specially crafted playlist embedded in a web page hosted on a malicious web site.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability has been reported in versions 5.0 through 5.08.
Solution: Update to version 5.08c.
