Description:
Yun Jonglim has reported a vulnerability in UnixWare, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error when mountd is run by inetd, as it will create the mountd process repeatedly when a NFS mount-related request is received.

Successful exploitation consumes a large amount of memory resources and may eventually crash the system.

NOTE: mountd is not enabled by default.

Solution:
Apply patch.
