Description: Wouter Coekaerts has reported some vulnerabilities in Konversation, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerabilities are caused due to some input validation errors in the included Perl scripts. This can e.g. be exploited by a malicious server to inject arbitrary shell commands when a specially crafted channel is joined.
Successful exploitation requires some user interaction.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 0.15. Other versions may also be affected.
