Description:
Javier Fernández-Sanguino Peña has reported a vulnerability in VDR, which potentially can be exploited by malicious, local users to manipulate sensitive information.

The vulnerability is caused due to insecure file access by the daemon and may be exploited to overwrite arbitrary files.
