Description: y3dips has reported a vulnerability in Exponent CMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "module" parameter in "index.php" and "mod.php" isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site.
It has also been reported that the full installation path can be disclosed by accessing certain scripts directly.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 0.95. Other versions may also be affected.
