Description:
Oliver Karow has discovered a vulnerability in WebWasher Classic, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to a design error when running in server mode, as the proxy allows connections to the localhost interface. This can be exploited via a "CONNECT" request to access arbitrary services listening on the localhost interface of a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability has been confirmed on version 3.3 and has been reported in version 2.2.1. Other versions may also be affected.
