Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in HP Virtualvault, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in the TGA (Trusted Gateway Agent) daemon and can be exploited via specially crafted network traffic.

Successful exploitation causes the TGA daemon to crash.

The vulnerability affects HP-UX B.11.04 with Virtualvault 4.7, 4.6, or 4.5.

Solution:
Apply patch.

Install PHSS_32520 or subsequent.

HP-UX B.11.04 Virtualvault A.04.60:
Install PHSS_32507 or subsequent.

HP-UX B.11.04 Virtualvault A.04.50:
Install PHSS_30782 or subsequent.
