Yiannis Girod has reported a vulnerability in Claroline, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct script insertion attacks.
Input passed to the "wantedCode", "faculte", "intitule", "languageCourse", "titulaires", and "email" parameters in "add_course.php" is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious course data are viewed.
The vulnerability has been reported in versions 1.5 through 1.5.3.
