Description: Rafel Ivgi has reported a vulnerability Microsoft Office XP, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the process that passes URL file locations to Microsoft Office. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow when e.g. a Word document with an overly long, specially crafted URL is opened inside Internet Explorer.
