Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Windows SharePoint Services and SharePoint Team Services, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

The vulnerability is caused due missing validation of input provided to a HTML redirection query before returning it to a user's browser. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

It is reportedly also possible to manipulate data in web browser caches and intermediate proxy server caches.

Solution:
Apply patches.
