Description:
Gentoo has issued an update for webmin. This fixes a security issue, which may disclose sensitive information to malicious people.

The encrypted root password is imported into the "miniserv.users" file, which is included in Portage-built binary packages. This can be exploited to gain knowledge of the encrypted root password for the host on which the webmin binary package has been built.

Solution:
Update to "app-admin/webmin-1.170-r3" or later.
