Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
Production systems should not return error messages to clients.
NOTE: The vendor has added a generic filter in order to protect against cross-site scripting attacks. However, it has been reported that this filter is inadequate (reported in version 7.9).
