Description: Ulf Härnhammar has reported a vulnerability in Typespeed, which potentially can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is caused due to a format string error in "file.c" and may allow execution of arbitrary code with escalated privileges on systems, where the game has been installed setuid or setgid (typically setgid "games").
NOTE: Typespeed is not installed setuid or setgid by default.
Solution: Remove any setuid / setgid bits.
Games should not be installed on production systems.
Provided and/or discovered by: Ulf Härnhammar, Debian Security Audit Project
