Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in wpa_supplicant, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the handling of EAPOL-Key frames. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow by sending a specially crafted packet.

Successful exploitation causes wpa_supplicant to crash.

The vulnerability has been reported in versions prior to 0.2.7 and 0.3.8 (except version 0.2.0).

Solution:
Update to version 0.2.7 or 0.3.8.
