Description: John Doe has reported a vulnerability in Arkeia, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the backup client when processing type 77 requests. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted type 77 request.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability has been reported in versions 4.2 through 5.3.3. Other versions may also be affected.
NOTE: Exploit code is available.
