Description: iDEFENSE has reported a vulnerability in Sun Solaris, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to manipulate the contents of arbitrary files.
The vulnerability is caused due to a race condition in the kcms_configure utility when writing log information to files.
Successful exploitation may result in a DoS (Denial of Service) or potentially allow escalation of privileges.
