Description:
Paul Craig has reported a vulnerability in glFTPd, which can be exploited by malicious users to detect the presence of local files and disclose some system and sensitive information.

The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error in the plugins "sitenfo.sh", "sitezipchk.sh" and "siteziplist.sh" handling the "SITE NFO" command. This can be exploited to determine the existence of arbitrary local files, disclose the content of arbitrary directories and disclose the content of files in arbitrary ZIP files via directory traversal attacks.

Examples:
SITE NFO ../../[file]
SITE NFO ../../[directory]/*
SITE NFO ../../[ZIP file] [file]

NOTE: Exploitation is limited to files inside the glFTPd chroot.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.26 through 2.00. Other versions may also be affected.
