Description: Luigi Auriemma has reported a vulnerability in Chaser, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is cause due to a boundary error in the handling of nicknames. This can be exploited to crash all connected clients by joining with an overly long nickname.
This can also be exploited to crash a vulnerable server running in game mode.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.50 and prior.
Solution: Host games on trusted networks only.
