Description: Rob Holland has reported a vulnerability in rxvt-unicode, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when handling terminal input containing an overly long escape sequence and can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow. This can be exploited by e.g. tricking a user into using the cat utility on a specially crafted file.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
