Description:
Virginity has reported a vulnerability in holaCMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

Input passed to the "vote_filename" parameter in "vote_save_results.php" isn't properly sanitised before being used to create files. This can be exploited to overwrite arbitrary files via directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability was originally reported in version 1.4.9 and prior. Version 1.4.9-1 is also affected as the included patch reportedly doesn't fix the vulnerability correctly.

Solution:
Update to version 1.4.9-2 or later.
